How Does A Robotic Boomerang System Work?

The Boomerang System is an intelligent transport and collection system integrated alongside the edge banding machine. At the start of the process, the operator defines the required number of passes and material parameters through the system interface. The Boomerang System then automatically feeds the panels into the edge bander and manages their movement throughout the processing cycle.

After each pass, the system uses robotic rotation to automatically reorient the panels and return them to the infeed for the next pass. Once all edge banding passes are completed, the panels are transferred to the palletizing or collection area. Any remaining waste material is automatically collected and transferred to a designated recycling area.

This fully automated cycle continues uninterrupted, enabling continuous production with minimal human intervention.
